Automatic promotion and personal price: what to compare in the cart

An offer without a promotional code does not necessarily mean the same price for every customer. The store can immediately reduce the cost of an item, show a separate price after logging into your account, or change the total when choosing a payment method. For the comparison to be useful, you need to understand how much you can pay and what actions this will require.

Divide three different numbers

The first value is the crossed-out price, relative to which the store shows the discount percentage. The second is the current cost of the selected product option. The third is the order amount before payment. These numbers answer different questions. The percentage on the card shows the ratio of two prices, but does not in itself prove that the offer is better than another store or yesterday's purchase.

In the conditional example, 2 000 ₽ and the new price 1 400 ₽ are indicated next to the product. The reduction from the original price shown is indeed 30%. But if the same product is available in another offer for 1 300 ₽ on conditions that suit you, the inscription “−30%” does not make the first option cheaper. Check the path from card to payment

1. Open an offer from store catalog and choose the exact size, color, volume and configuration. Prices for different options may vary.
2. Please indicate the required quantity and receiving address. Write down the price before you log in, if it's visible, then compare it to what you'll get after you log in.
3. Read the explanation next to the lowest price. If there is a condition about payment, subscription or buyer status, check if it suits you.
4. Add item to cart. Find the actual cost reduction: it may be included in the line price or shown as a separate discount.
5. Proceed to select delivery and payment. Record the total along with the obligatory expenses without completing the purchase for the sake of verification.
